Our mission at Burton & Associates Business Consulting Services, LLC is simple: to provide mediation services that are fair, impartial, and neutral by the mediator. The mediator will facilitate communication between parties without imposing any judgement on the issues, and remaining neutral during the mediation. We hope you’ll find what you’re looking for. Types of Mediation

Civil Cases
Civil mediation cases refer to disputes between parties that are resolved through the process of mediation rather than going to court. The cases include, but are not limited to: Contract disputes, Property disputes, Personal Injury Claims, Employment disputes, Neighbor disputes, Family disputes, and Business disputes.

Family Cases
Family mediation cases refer to disputes or conflicts within a family that are resolved through the mediation process rather than through litigation. These cases include, but are not limited to: Divorce mediation, Child custody and visitation mediation, Parenting plan modification mediation, Mediation for unresolved issues after divorce, Elder Care and Inheritance mediation, and Family conflict mediation.

Court Appointed Cases
Court-Appointed mediation cases are those in which a judge orders or refers the parties involved in a dispute to participate in mediation as part of the court process. The cases include, but are not limited to: Civil litigation mediation, Family law mediation, and Small Claims mediation.
Mediation Services Available
Burton & Associates Mediation Services offers Online mediation though Zoom or In-Person mediation at a location determined by the Court or Attorneys. If a third-party alternate location is needed then additional fees may apply, such as rental of a place, meals, etc.
Mediation Service via Zoom (Online)
Mediation services via Zoom may be conducted with all parties in the same room; however, options for separate rooms online is available. The fees for this mediation service is as follows:
2-Hr Mediation - $500.00
4-Hr Mediation - $1,000.00
8-Hr Mediation - $2,000.00
Extended Mediation Per Hour - $250.00
Parties have the option to split the cost, in which the price will be divided by the number of participants in the mediation.
Mediation Service In-Person
(Location - TBD)
Mediation services In-Person may be conducted with all parties in the same room; however, options for separate rooms are available. The fees for this mediation service is as follows:
2-Hr Mediation - $500.00
4-Hr Mediation - $1,000.00
8-Hr Mediation - $2,000.00
Extended Mediation Per Hour - $250.00
Parties have the option to split the cost in which the price will be divided by the number of participants in the mediation.
The mediation may occur at an attorney's office to reduce the additional fee charge; however, if a room rental is required, then additional fees will apply.
Conflict Coaching
(Online)
Conflict coaching is an additional service that Burton & Associates Business Consulting Services, LLC offers.
Conflict coaching is conducted online with all parties in the same room. The fees for conflict coaching is as follows:
2-Hr Session - $250.00
Additionally, conflict coaching is for provided to help the participants identify the problem, understand their interests, and how to reach potential agreements.
Additional Mediation Service Information
All mediations will occur during the time scheduled. Additional time may be added if needed on the same day at a rate of $250.00 per hour. If costs will be split, please select and pay the correct amount in the additional payment options section below.
Payment Options

Refund Policy
If a scheduled mediation session does not occur, then all but $250.00 of the above fees shall be refunded to the person(s) who paid such fees. If the mediator was at fault for the mediation to not occur, then a full refund will be paid to the person(s) who paid such fees.
